MEMORIAL BLOWING OF TRUMPETS

(Leviticus 23:24 KJV):
"Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation".
Meaning & Significance:

Trumpets (Shofar): The sound of the trumpet (often a ram's horn) served as a call to worship, a signal for gathering, and a reminder of God YHWH's covenant.

Holy Convocation: A sacred assembly where no servile work was done.

New Year: It marks the beginning of the religious year for Israel

Memorial:
A remembrance before God, signifying His presence and sovereignty
